A Local Connection That Goes Back Generations
Our story traces back to the Geebung Memorial Hall, which opened in April 1923 to honour local servicemen lost in the First World War.
Affectionately remembered as “The Hole in the Wall”, the hall became a gathering place for the wider community. It hosted dances, films, meetings and social occasions, while giving veterans a place to connect and support one another.
The club has grown and changed over the years, but that connection remains central to who we are. Today, Geebung RSL continues to bring people together while honouring its history and those who have served.
